WESTMINSTER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

WHY JOIN MOPS?

As moms, we sometimes have lots of stuff that we let build up and get in the way of living a full life... stress, busyness, worry...

But some fresh perspectives, a little friendship, a little break from the normal everyday routine... can be the Fresh Air we need to refresh and renew ourselves so we can live our lives to the fullest.

And isn't that really what we are all looking for... some Fresh Air and a full (but non over-stuffed) life? You'll find that and more at Westminster Presbyterian Church's MOPS.

MOPPETS

MOPPETS is a quality children's program whichis provided for your children from birth through kindergarten during the MOPS meetings at no extra charge.

Structured activities, snacks and play are all provided for as part of the MOPPETS program in a clean, safe, nurturing environment.

Your children will make new friends and look forward to MOPS as much as you DO!

ABOUT MOPS INTERNATIONAL
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed for mothers, not all the same age, lifestyle, and backgrounds, but all in the same phase of life and with similar needs and a shared desire to be the best mothers they can be!

THE VISION OF MOPS
MOPS International exists to encourage, equip, and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.

Welcome to MOPS 2007 - 2008
Three key elements of this theme to explore throughout the year:
Our homes are where we bond, cocoon, build inwardly.
Our homes are where we refuel so that we can live fully in the world beyond.

Our homes are a picture of Jesus' dwelling within us.

We will explore these key elements through a great line-up of speakers and the book, Dwelling: living fully from the place you call home. The author of the book is Mary Beth Lagerborg. The books will be ordered before our first meeting and will be available for purchase for a nominal fee. Scholarships are available. We are looking forward to growing together!

Our first meeting began September 7th and continues through May. We meet the first and third Friday of the month. MOPPETS caregivers will receive your children beginning at 9:00 AM. Announcements and our traditional breakfast will begin at 9:15 AM. Our semester fee remains $30. Scholarships are available. Jan Peery will continue to manage registration as Finance Leader. The swap table will be available for our first meeting.

If you are planning on joining us this season, PLEASE reply to the church office (630 896-5502 X201 - Anne).
