Exciting news for FUSION - Our Jr. High and Sr. High Youth and K-Life Ministries unite to bring more kids together for Jesus here at WPC.
So what is K-Life?
K-Life is a youth ministry focused on mentoring and discipling today’s teenagers.
Working on a community-wide scale, K-Life networks kids from different churches (and those without a church affiliation) to build positive, godly relationships that can withstand the negative peer pressure so prevalent in today's youth culture.
Through the development and training of college-aged leadership teams, K-Life employs a strategy that results in junior and senior high kids who are actively involved in small groups, where relationships can be fostered and truth can be taught. K-Life’s heart is to minister in much the same way as the Apostle Paul described in his letter to the church at Thessalonica: “Having thus a fond affection for you, we were well-pleased to impart not only the Gospel of God, but also our own lives, for you had become dear to us.” Even so, our desire is to build bridges to kids’ hearts, and deliver the good news about Jesus Christ to their souls. Supporting and surrounding our small group strategy are the more visible components of our ministry - weekly club meetings, activities and events, and retreats.
We are blessed here at WPC to have the joint energies of our own youth ministry and Randall Rosen from K-Life partnering together to reach Aurora’s youth for Jesus! Pray for this FUSION ministry. Sunday evenings 5:30-7:00 PM for all youth 6th-12th grades.
